What is MOUSE Squad?

An innovative youth development program, MOUSE Squad prepares and supports students in establishing and managing leading edge technical support help desks in their schools. MOUSE Squad improves a school’s ability to use technology to enhance learning, while also providing a powerful, hands-on 21st century learning experience for students.

At UMS, MOUSE Squad students learn skills to help keep technology running smoothly. The advisors guide the students to perform computer repairs, hardware trouble shooting, equipment moving and set up—anything related to technology, MOUSE Squad students are there to help.

For further information on MOUSE Squad at UMS, contact any of the advisors.

MouseSquad students received commendation from Mayor Chuck Reed and Councilmember Donald Rocha Tuesday evening, December 9th at the San Jose City Council.  These students gain a considerable amount of experience in technology skills, leadership and communication skills, as well as developing community connections with Xilinx and CREATV! Congratulations to Jaime O., Cait O., Kayla H., and David F. for not only helping support technology at Union Middle School , but also volunteering to present at conferences for CLMS and CUE.
